Hoedspruit also has a lot to offer in culinary terms. For example, there is ‘Hat and Creek’: if it’s allowed to be a bit more, it’s absolute enjoyment here.
But the international cuisine is also present, such as ‘Wimpies’ or KFC if you’re in the mood for fast food.
If you prefer fresh pizzas or grill at a nice location there is ‘Three Bridges’, 20km further on the road to Phalaborwa, next to the Elephant River. Finally, you also have the Stoned Olive Café or if you want to be a bit more stylish in a beautiful setting, Khaya Ndlovu is highly recommended (book in advance). For a nice lunch we recommend 100% Cooked!

See the spectacular Drakensbergen by car, or even from the air, or go rafting in Tzaneen in the Wolkbergen: from your holiday home you can take several day trips that start in less than an hour’s drive.
Culture
Africa breathes centuries-old traditions and culture. Look for the roots of the African people by visiting an ancient tribe, or eat pancakes at a giant baobab made from centuries-old African roots.
Wild Life
For many the reason to come to Africa: to experience animals in the wild that don’t roam freely in Europe. Going on safari is what you do here! Learn more about living in and with the wild in special centres.
Sport
If a walking giraffe or running leopard inspires you to take action, don’t think this is not possible in Africa. You can go jogging, horseback riding, but also cycling and golf among the impressive fauna and flora.
